How many endings are there in Children of the Forest?
There are three endings to Sons of the Forest and each of them depends on the choices you make throughout the game. You can get a secret ending in addition to the good or bad ending. But there are some prerequisites to get these endings. How to get the ending (full walkthrough)
To reach the end of Sons of the Forest, you must collect all three Keycards scattered across the map. You mainly need to acquire the maintenance and VIP key card to get the Golden Armor. If you haven't gotten it yet, check out our Golden Armor location guide. After acquiring these items, head to the final Abandoned Bunker. It is located on the southeast side of the map.- From the entrance to the Bunker, enter by lighting a torch or lantern.
- You'll find the Golden Sealed Arm door which is unlocked using the Golden Armor.
- After unlocking the Arm door, you'll find lava squirting around the cave passage.
- You must find a way through the dark caverns to reach a huge golden cube.
- If you can't find the path, focus on getting to ground level without getting hurt by the Lava.
- Upon reaching ground level through rocks and rubble, navigate to the Golden Cube.
- You will see that the principal in green is already inside the cube holding a laptop.
- When you enter the cube, the door will close with the guy revealing a countdown timer on his laptop.
- While the silver woman also tries to get into the cube, she doesn't make it in time.
- Once the countdown ends, the man in green begins to part ways with multiple versions of himself.
- Then, a moment later, you'll see a futuristic Ecumenopolis with flying supercars and skyscrapers.
- When the box returns to normal, you'll find that the silver woman has turned into a large mass of mutated flesh.
Finally, you'll wake up on the beach with two ending options. You can choose to leave the island with the Man in Green and his father by boarding a rescue helicopter. Alternatively, you can stay on the island alone with the mutants and other monstrosities. Or, lastly, you can trigger the secret or perfect ending.
