Bleak Faith: Forsaken is accused of stealing animations from Elden Ring, developer responds
Bleak Faith: Forsaken is a new Souls-like game that was recently released on PC. However, people have accused the developers of stealing animations from Elden Ring, prompting Archangel Studios to comment on these allegations.
The important things first. Meowmaritus, creator of Dark Souls Anim Studio software shared the following video. In this video we can clearly see the similarities of numerous animations between Bleak Faith: Forsaken and Elden Ring.
Saw this footage floating around. Bleak Faith: Forspoken is 100% using animations ripped directly 1:1 from Elden Ring.

I do NOT condone people using my DS Anim Studio software to aid in exporting animations to include in commercial products or sell them on Epic Games Store. pic.twitter.com/9JHGMeu9as
However, the developers have stated that the animations they are using are part of an asset pack from the Epic Games Store. In fact, you can buy it yourself right now. Below is her full answer.
So yeah, the developers aren't lying here. And no, they didn't use Dark Souls Anim Studio to rip off the animations from Elden Ring. Given their similarities, PersiaNinja - the creator of the asset pack - might have done just that.
Now I know we all love a good controversial story. However, there is no foul play here. Again, the asset pack is available for purchase as we speak, so the only culprits here are Epic Games and PersiaNinja (again, if they ripped those Elden Ring/Dark Souls animations).
