Here are six minutes of leaked WIP images of STALKER 2

A few days ago, we reported on hackers obtaining tens of gigabytes of game material from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. And, as you might have guessed, hackers have leaked several WIP screenshots of this upcoming game.


The following video contains various visual effects that the game will feature. From what we can see, STALKER 2 will have physics-based script sequences. The game will also have various weather effects (probably due to its anomaly traps).


As stated, this is WIP footage, so you shouldn't expect too much from it. Still, some STALKER 2 fans might find it interesting, which is why we decided to share the video. Also, it doesn't seem to spoil anything from the game, so that's a huge plus.


STALKER 2 aims to present an epic, non-linear story. Furthermore, your choices will influence both the short-term consequences and the overall results. The game will take place inside the Chernobyl exclusion zone and will have new locations along with the old ones.


The game will use Unreal Engine 5 and was originally planned for a 2022 release date. In June 2022, GSC GameWorld announced that the game has been delayed to 2023. However, realistically, I expect this game to drop to 2024.
