How to get the shotgun rail in Sons of The Forest

The shotgun rail can be found on a beach in the northernmost part of the Sons of the Forest map. Upon reaching this location, you can see an abandoned camp with withered rafts on the shore. In the same location, you'll also see a dead body near two tents and some crates. The shotgun rail will be in this corpse's hands. Simply walk up to it and press "E" to take it out.


There is another way to get your hands on Shotgun Rail in the game. However, this method is more time consuming and will require you to progress a little further in the game. Here are some of the things you will need before getting the attachment:

• maintenance key
• rebreather
• Shovel

If you've already found the shotgun, you'll likely have the Rebreather and Shovel as well. But you will have to do a long search to find the Maintenance Keycard. Once you've found the keycard, you'll need to head to the location marked in the image below.

You'll need to get past two golf carts, enter the gap through the caves and go down the ladder, then use the Maintenance Key Card on the locked door. Here, you'll need to deal with several mutants and wade through the hallways to reach the shotgun rail on the shelf.
