What is woven mail in Destiny 2
Woven Mail Destiny 2 - Bungie's newest DLC, Lightfall, is here and players everywhere have jumped into it immediately. Many new things have been introduced into the game. Woven mail is one of them. It is a new passive ability that Destiny 2 players can earn by using Strand.
You'll come across this as you go through different fragments for your class. It will be a bonus that you can get by using Strand. Woven Mail is an excellent way to protect yourself in combat. However, its workings and effects seem a bit difficult to understand. So here is a guide to everything you need to know about Woven Mail in Destiny 2.
What does Woven Mail do and what does it help against?
As I said before, Woven Mail is basically a specific passive that you can earn by using the Strand subclass. In particular, you will find it when using the Thread of Warding fragment in your Strand build. This will give you the Woven Mail buff whenever you pick up an Orb of Power. It will net you around you and envelop you in strand matter. So when you're in this state, all incoming damage is reduced, which basically means this would be a perfect choice if you're going for the PvE missions. Note that Woven Mail may not be that good for the PvP battles. This is because most players have become accustomed to landing hits with precision against other Guardians.
The way you get Woven Mail depends heavily on the Fragment you use. You need to pick up Orbs of Power for Thread of Warding. This would mostly occur when a Guardian uses their Super. Which could also fit into your build, let's say other ways would be collecting orbs, like boosting your grenade, or your class ability based on your Orbs of Power collection, or they can even give you additional armor changes.
Woven Mail is sure to have value as a passive in your Strand build. Tweaking it throughout your gameplay in Destiny 2 Nightfall and even beyond the campaign is important. That's all you need to know about Woven Mail in Destiny 2.
